Cherokee Ranch Exotic Hunts

We take pride in offering fair chase hunting for Whitetail, Exotic and African species. Cherokee Ranch provides a rich habitat from good brush country to rolling hills and valleys, which ensures our clients a challenging hunt.  Our terrain and vegetation supports over 30 species of native and exotic wildlife, originating from all over the globe.

Pricing & Reservations

All Hunting Packages Include:

  • Transportation to/from San Antonio Airport
  • 3 days/2 nights lodging
  • All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Open bar (beer, liquor, soft drinks)
  • Professional guiding provided
  • Field dressing of game
  • Rifles available if needed
  • Transportation to meat processor
  • Transportation to taxidermist

Fees and Disclaimers

Hunter: $300 per day

Non-Hunter: $100 per day

$1000 non-refundable deposit is required for all reservations.  A minimum of 30 days notice must be provided for cancellations and your hunt can be rescheduled 1 time.

 

All balances to be paid in full prior to departure with a check, cash and/or credit card.  Credit card transactions will be charged an extra 3% administration fee.

 

*A wounded animal is treated the same as a kill.  We will do our best to locate your animal and have tracking dogs to help.  However there is no guarantees on wounded animals.​

*Does not included hunting license, meat processing and/or taxidermy fees.

  • What animals do you have on Cherokee Ranch?
    Please see our animal list located here or you can view our photos of recent hunts.
  • Do I need a hunting license?
    Yes, to hunt the whitetails and other exotic animals in Texas, you do need a license. Our guides can take you to a grocery store, approximately 6 miles from Cherokee Ranch. Please contact us so we can assist you with obtaining a license.
  • What do I need in order to get a hunting license?
    A state issued Driver's License is required before a hunting license can be issued.
  • What is the cost of the license?
    It can vary depending upon the type of animal and whether you are from out of state. Please visit Texas Parks and Wildlife for additional information.
  • Do you provide transportation from the airport?
    Yes, we will provide a courtesy service, to and from San Antonio, TX airport only.
  • What about hunting safety?
    Our number one priority is your safety. All hunting vehicles are equipped with two-way communications to stay in contact with one another at all times.
  • Are deposits required for reservations?
    Our hutning safari can only be reserved with a non-refundable deposit of $1000 per hunt. We will send you a confirmation email upon receipt of your deposit.
  • How much is the daily fee and what does it cover?
    Daily fee per hunter is $300 and $100 for non-hunter. This includes practically everything other than the trophy fee itself: - Lodging, guide fees, courtesy transportation to and from San Antonio Airport, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and all drinks (colas, orange juice, beer mixed alcoholic drinks and bottled water.
  • What are the final payment options?
    All hunts will be paid in full before leaving Cherokee Ranch. Cash, cashier's check, traveler's checks or an approved major credit card will be accepted. When using major credit cards, there will be an administrative and handling fee applied of 3%.
  • What time of the year can I come to Cherokee Ranch?
    We provide year round hunting to accomodate all species.
  • Do I need to bring towels, pillows, blankets?"
    No, all of this is provided to you in the cabin.
